Curriculum Vitae: Graduated in Czech and history at the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk university in Brno (1987: PhDr.; thesis: Obraz Mexika, Marian a Filipín v relacích misionářů české provincie S. J., 1678-1700 [Image of Mexico, Mariana Islands and Philippines within the Reports of Missionaries of Bohemian Province S. J., 1678-1700]), research fellow at the Institute for Classical Studies of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague (1988-2002) and Institute of Botany of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Průhonice (2002-2008). Since 2002 research fellow and Chairman of the Management Board of the Association for Centra European Cultural Studies. 2011-2019 PhD student at the Department of Musicology of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague (thesis Jezuité a hudební kultura v Praze 1556-1623 [Jesuits and Musical Culture in Prague 1556-1623]). Long-time scientific editor of the publishing house KLP – Koniasch Latin Press, investigator and co-investigator of a number of grant projects, editor-in-chief of the series Clavis monumentorum musicorum Regni Bohemiae and online journal Clavibus unitis. Research topics: early modern musical culture within the Bohemian Lands, bohemical (Czech and Latin) literature, editing of musical sources without notation, digitization of pictorial and textual data, computer processing and access to cultural-historical data in database systems.
