Vitae: Professor of musicology (aesthetics of music,
history of early music in Croatia and Europe) at the Department of
Musicology, Academy of Music, University of Zagreb, Croatia.
Participated in 105 scholarly symposia in Croatia and abroad. Lectured
at 23 universities worldwide (Europe, USA and Canada, Australia, South
Africa). Published as author, editor and translator 23 books, and c.180
articles in Croatia and abroad. Editor-in-Chief of the International Review of the
Aesthetics and Sociology of Music (Zagreb). President
(2001-2006) of the Croatian Musicological Society. Full member of
Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts (since 2012).
